Burial Of Illusions

An unambitious song
Deserves voluptuous energy
Unrequited respect
Continues to be
Unconditional;
Patience, at times,
Is an excuse
For helplessness.

It is human
To Expect
At least something,
It is human
To Reject
On flimsy grounds,
It is human
To invent Idols
Who fail to reciprocate.

When ambitions
Die like a sad song
And the hero worshiping
Proves to be an
Imbecile exercise,
There's an urge
To catch up
With the hidden potential.

Life begins
With the burial
Of Illusions.

That is so true! Thank you for sharing this song with us!
